Flat Laps Polishing Pads
Natural wool felt for the best overall polishing on Inland SwapTop™ Flat
Lap Machine or any machine using a 6" or 8" Master Lap.
Felt Pad Key Features:
- Hard Density (0.36g/cm) pads for longer useful life.
- No color is added to our pads, so no color will be added to your work.
- Readily accepts most polishing media including our cerium Polishing Compound and tin oxides, diamond compounds, and more.
- PSA backing for easy application and stay-put fit.
Product Uses:
- Polish fused, slumped and flame-worked pieces without returning them to a kiln or torch.
- Polish out pontil marks from paperweights, perfume bottles, bowls, vases and other hot glass forms.
- Create glass cabochons from custom murrini and pattern bars for custom and unique design elements or jewelry pieces.
- Shape glass tiles and tesserae, smalti, and Venetian glass for mosaic work.
- Polish glass pieces for projects like coasters, dishes, and wind chimes.
- Remove and polish out scratches from glass and stone.

- Diamond Flat Laps: Our laps are replacement disks which you would use with a "Master lap" (casting). They have a 1/2" arbor hole for mechanically affixing to the master lap. Diamond laps are available in 60, 100, 170, 275, 325, 600, 1200, and 3000 grit diamond.
