 Set-Up

  1. WaterDrip AddOn Kit installed on SwapTop SawInsert the legs of the wire coolant reservoir stand into the two mounting brackets found on the back of the machine body.
  2. Attach one end of the plastic tubing to the stem on the underside of the reservoir. NOTE: Soaking the tubing in warm water makes it easier to insert onto the stem.
  3. Feed the other end through the tunnel behind the coolant flow adjustment screw.
  4. Screw the nylon thumb screw (coolant flow adjustment screw) into the brass threading on the front. Turn until it just holds in place.
  5. Slide the reservoir onto the loop at the top of the coolant reservoir stand.
  6. Attach the free end of the coolant hose onto the nipple on the coolant feed housing of the machine. For SwapTop saws the coolant feed housing is located on the blade cover. On the TwinSpin the coolant feed housing is located on the disc cover.

Use

  1. Turn the coolant flow adjustment screw on the reservoir clockwise just enough to close off the line and then fill the reservoir with plain water or plain water with a capful of Inland Diamond Coolant (stock no. 50011).
  2. Make sure you have proper eye protection on and then turn on your machine.
  3. Adjust the flow of coolant by slowly turning the coolant flow adjustment screw counter-clockwise. The coolant flow rate should be just enough to keep the blade or disc wet while operating. Water should not flow excessively. Increase the water flow rate ONLY if a dry powder begins to form on the tip of the material being worked.
  4. Shut off the coolant flow after use. Frequently check the reservoir level and fill as needed.
