| Making a Grid for Old Style Wiz/Wizling Grinders | ||
The replacement grids for Wiz grinders made before 1986 are no longer available. You can easily make a replacement grid for your machine using a Wizard grid work surface, Inland no. 50004 and a 3/4" BitSert™ for the Wizard grid, Inland no. 40041. Click here on TEMPLATE to open the file in Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print out a copy of the full size template. If you don't have Acrobat Reader you can download it free from the Adobe Website. |

| Cut out the template inside the black line. Cut out the BitSert™ opening as indicated on the template. This makes it easier to position the template accurately on the Wizard grid. | ![]() |
| Place the template on the grid and align the BitSert™ opening of the template with that of the grid. You can either trace around the template with a black marker or tape the template in place. | ![]() |
| Use lead nippers or a utility knife to cut through the grid around the entire template. On the sides and back you will cut along a row so that you leave a full "square" of the grid. On the front you will cut through the middle of a row leaving an open row of "squares". | ![]() |

| Open the outside edge of both back corner squares to allow the grid to sit level on the reservoir. Trim as needed to adjust fit. Insert the new BitSert™ and reinstall your 3/4" bit. | ![]() |
