I was happy to be able to get replacement parts for my iron. I wished the iron hadn’t been discontinued.

Great service

Found a tip for an old iron that is no longer make I'm thrilled to death

Totally wrong part

The shank on my tip measures 0.3453"o.d. x 1.60"l. The shank on the tips I bought measure 0.302"o.d. x 1.52"l. My tip has a 0.435" o.d. collar to hold the tip in position. The tip I bought has no such collar and can be inserted in my Inland iron in it's entirety.

Hi Randy - We are sorry to hear this. We checked the sizes that you provided and tested the soldering tips that we have in stock on the InstaHeat iron. All of them are fitting properly. Perhaps you have a different model soldering iron? Other versions of soldering irons will require different sized tips. Please call us at (248) 583-7150 so we can assist you further.
