I'm a glassworker of 10 years so am definitely not an amateur. The machine is really nice for the price but the diamond blade almost totally burned out in a day. I was cutting 1/8th of an inch clear wissmach sheet glass and had tons of water running on the piece. The blade lasted like 8 hours. Sorry for bad picture but you can see it's bare metal from the photo

What can I say? Works, cuts rocks and crystals as expected. Nice machine of just the right size for my jewelry studio. The only complaint is I wish it came in paisley. LOL No, the color is fine. Nice tool.
Blade works fast on highest speed with stained glass and is lasting a long time. Make sure to buy extra BladeSerts unless your really only doing mostly straight cuts.
