This large, 10″ (25 cm) x 8-3/4″ (22 cm) MagnaShield face shield has a built-in optical quality convex magnifying surface making it easier to see your work, reduces eye strain, and provides additional protection against grinding and sawing debris. Easily installs onto the Wizard IV grinder, WizCG grinder and the WizlingCG grinder.

  • Easy to work under and provides added protection from grinding and sawing debris to keep you and your work area safe and clean
  • Simply rinse under running water to clean

Safety note: This MagnaShield alone is not adequate eye protection. Always wear safety goggles when operating any machine.

Magna Shield review

I was hoping the Magna shield would be awesome. However it makes me dizzy. My husband and I were just talking about it and wondered if it can be exchanged. So sorry.

MagnaShield Feedback

Hello, I recently purchased the MagnaShield and LED light falong with my glass grinder. Overall, I'm very pleased with both products. The grinder performs exceptionally well, and the LED light has been a great addition. The MagnaShield also provides good protection and has been helpful during grinding.

One suggestion I would like to offer concerns the magnifier section of the shield. As an older user who wears prescription glasses while grinding, I find that the fixed position of the magnifier requires me to move my head up, down, and side-to-side to find the optimal viewing angle. An adjustable or pivoting magnifier that could be rotated or repositioned would make the product even more useful and comfortable to use.
